Runner Bean White Emergo are the perfect accompaniment to a traditional roast! As a substitute for Butter Beans in your cooking why not try mature seeds which can be used. White Emergo are a high yielding white flowered variety with long smooth pods from late summer to autumn.

Sow from May to July outdoors directly into rich well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Provide support for climbing either a row or wigwam of 180cm canes or netting sowing 2 seeds against each cane 5cm deep. When growing keep watered particularly once flowering starts adding mulch during hotter dry periods.Harvest from July to October; pick pods regularly whilst young for heaviest yields and to extend the season.
